Ler Wee Meng

Ler Wee Meng is the founder and Managing Director of Securevision Pte Ltd. Graduated with a degree in Engineering (Electrical Electronics Engineering) from the National University of Singapore and a Law Degree (Hon) from the University of London, he is a veteran in the Security Industry with over 20 years experience.

Prior to starting Securevision, he joined Tyco Fire and Security in 1998 and started ADT Singapore from scratch. He introduced and develop the ADT Dealership Programme, training dealers and salesmen to offer free alarm system in exchange for three years of alarm monitoring. Under his leadership, the programme was very successful, making ADT the largest alarm monitoring company in Singapore. He was later promoted to Regional Training and Development Manager for South Asia, where he helped other countries repeat the ADT Singapore’s success story.

He is an accomplished toastmaster with the NUS Alumni Toastmasters Club and has won numerous speech contests at club, area and division level.

A concerned and involved parent, he was the Chairman of the Compassvale Parent Support Group, a Parent Ambassador of the Ministry of Education and a established public speaker on parenting issues and concerns. He had spoken to numerous schools and communities, addressing both parents and child, promoting the cause for parenthood.
