Located on Shelford Road, this development comprises two premium detached bungalows designed by Aamer Architects. The project required a high-integrity security solution that integrates into the architectural vision of the pair of freehold homes. Securevision was engaged to deliver a complete technical stack covering intrusion detection, surveillance, and automated access control.
By coordinating security requirements early in the construction phase, we ensured that all technical infrastructure-from cable pathways to equipment placement-was aligned with the contemporary aesthetic of the bungalows. The resulting system provides comprehensive protection for both residences while maintaining the clean, minimalist lines intended by the architects.

In luxury bungalows of this calibre, security must act as a background sanctuary-providing quiet confidence without interrupting the architectural flow.
We focused on designing technology that respects the clean, minimalist lines of the homes, ensuring protection remains discreet. By establishing a secure envelope for both plots with coordinated gate control and comprehensive situational visibility, we maintained perimeter integrity across the entire development.
Additionally, we ensured seamless usability by providing intuitive visitor verification and clear communication that supports the daily rhythms of modern landed living. The bungalows feature a design-led approach that prioritises space, light, and materiality, and our role was to provide a technical layer that supports this vision, ensuring that safety remains a background confidence while the architecture takes centre stage.
At Shelford Road, Securevision acted as the technical integration partner, working to ensure that different security layers-alarm, CCTV, intercom, and gate-work as one coordinated system.
By planning the infrastructure early, we were able to incorporate technical requirements directly into the build. This coordination ensures that all cabling and equipment are integrated into the architecture, avoiding the visual congestion of retrofit installations and providing a cleaner, more reliable outcome for the homeowners.
Our technical standards prioritised preserving clean architectural lines throughout both bungalows, ensuring clear perimeter awareness with zero blind spots, implementing intuitive visitor communication channels, and delivering industrial-grade reliability for long-term use.

Paradox Spectra alarm system with 30+ zones, providing granular detection across all external contacts and internal spaces.
16-channel Hikvision CCTV system covering key viewpoints, including the driveway, entrance, and side access points.
Aiphone JOS high-fidelity intercom for secure visitor verification between the entrance and indoor monitor points.
FAAC auto sliding gate motors with dedicated pedestrian side gate integration for seamless vehicle and foot entry.
The final outcome delivered a seamless protection environment for both prestige bungalows. Homeowners benefit from complete layered protection that remains discreet and intuitive to use on a daily basis. A unique feature of this project is the tailored Night Mode Operation. The intrusion and surveillance systems are programmed to automatically secure the outer perimeter and ground-floor access points, allowing the family to move freely upstairs while maintaining complete peace of mind during the night.
By designing the systems as a single coordinated implementation from the outset, we achieved a level of technical integrity that supports modern landed living without feeling intrusive-ensuring the homes remain both beautiful and secure.
