Unlike technical guides and product specifications, these videos are designed for people who are not technical: residents who need to open a door from their phone, managing agents who need to update a resident record, or homeowners who need to check their CCTV footage. The goal is to answer the question before a support call is needed.
Why We Created These Videos
Most support calls are not caused by system failures. They happen because users have never been shown how a feature works: or because they were shown once at handover and have forgotten by the time they actually need it.
The topics covered in these videos are based on real questions from residents, managing agents, property managers, and business users across Singapore: the same questions our engineers answer repeatedly. Setting up SmartPlus on a new phone, creating a temporary visitor key, resetting a forgotten password, understanding what to do and what not to do when moving out of a condominium: these are genuine operational questions that residents encounter and that a short video answers better than a written explanation.
Our goal is simple: help users solve common issues quickly, independently, and without waiting for a support response. A resident who can answer their own door, share a visitor key, and move out correctly causes fewer problems for the managing agent, the next resident, and the system. These videos exist to make that outcome more likely.

About These Videos
Do I need to register or log in to watch the videos?
No. All videos on this page are freely accessible without registration. Videos hosted on YouTube can also be watched directly on the Securevision YouTube channel or shared with residents and managing agents via a direct link.
Are these videos only for Securevision customers?
No. The SmartPlus tutorials are applicable to any Singapore property using the Akuvox SmartPlus platform, regardless of which integrator installed it. The manufacturer product tutorials are official videos from the respective brands and are relevant to anyone using those products.
What if my app looks different from the one in the video?
SmartPlus app updates occasionally change the interface layout. The core functions covered in the videos: opening doors, creating visitor keys, resetting passwords: remain in the same locations across versions. If you cannot locate a specific option, check that your app is updated to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play before contacting support.
Can managing agents share these videos with residents?
Yes: that is one of the primary purposes of this library. Managing agents are welcome to share individual video links or the YouTube channel link with residents, include them in welcome packs, or embed them in their own resident portals. No permission is required.
What if I cannot find a video for my specific issue?
Check the FAQ library: most common SmartPlus and system questions are answered there in text form. If your question is not covered, WhatsApp our support line and our engineers will respond during business hours. Recurring questions that are not yet covered by a video are added to the production queue.
