Singapore Security Systems Integrator - Founded 2006

Securevision is a PLRD-licensed security systems integrator founded in 2006 by Ler Wee Meng. Founder's Story

Why Ler Wee Meng Started Securevision

Most security companies in Singapore sell equipment. Securevision was built to do something different - to design systems around how properties actually operate, and to remain accountable long after the installation is completed.

After years in the security industry, Ler Wee Meng saw the same problem repeated across many sites: systems were being installed, but they were not always designed around the client's actual risks, operations, or long-term needs.

Over the course of his career, he has worked across engineering, project management, alarm monitoring, sales leadership, business development, and executive management - in roles spanning residential, commercial, and industrial security environments, as well as large-scale monitored alarm operations serving tens of thousands of customers across Singapore.

Having seen security systems from both technical and operational perspectives, he believes effective security is not about individual products. It is about understanding how systems are designed, used, maintained, and managed over time. That perspective continues to guide Securevision today.

He saw alarms that triggered without clear visibility, camera systems that recorded incidents but did little to prevent them, and installations that looked complete on paper but were weak in real-world use.

That frustration led to the founding of Securevision in 2006.

From the start, the company took a different approach: assess the site carefully, understand how the property actually operates, recommend the right combination of systems, and remain accountable long after handover.

Today, Securevision serves clients across Singapore - landed homes, condominiums, MCSTs and managing agents, commercial offices, factories, warehouses, healthcare facilities, dormitories, and institutions. The company is one of the few Singapore security systems integrators that handles all security system types under one roof, with PLRD licensing, bizSAFE certification, and BCA registration.

Who Contacts Us

Why Clients Engage Securevision

Most clients do not contact us because they need a camera, an alarm, or an access card. They contact us because they have a problem that needs solving.

🏗️

Renovation & New Build

They are planning a Singapore landed home, condominium, or commercial renovation and want security systems installed properly before the ceilings are closed and the walls are plastered. The window to do it right is narrow and expensive to miss.

🔄

Ageing Systems

Their existing intercom, access control, or CCTV system is reaching end of life - spare parts are becoming unavailable, service calls are increasing, or the system no longer meets the operational requirements of the property. They need a clear recommendation: repair, upgrade, or replace.

🏢

Condominium & Estate Management

MCSTs and managing agents in Singapore need to upgrade common area systems - intercom, car park access, visitor management, or perimeter CCTV - and want a contractor experienced in the BMSMA approval process and the practical realities of managing works in an occupied development.

🔗

Integration & Simplification

They are managing multiple security systems across an office, factory, warehouse, or commercial building that were installed at different times by different contractors. Systems do not work together, management is fragmented, and they want a single integrated solution with one point of accountability.

🚗

Car Park & Vehicle Management

Condominiums, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities want to automate car park access - replacing manual card systems with LPR licence plate recognition, reducing guardhouse workload, and improving visitor management. Most are also asking about the ERP 2.0 OBU transition.

🎯

The Objective Is Not Equipment

Across all of these situations, the objective is rarely to buy equipment. It is to improve security, simplify operations, reduce long-term maintenance burden, and make better decisions. The equipment is the means, not the end.

Why Securevision

More Than an Installer

Anyone can supply equipment. The real challenge is making sure the right systems are selected, designed to work together, installed correctly, and supported consistently - so they continue serving the property long after the contractor has left the site.

Engineer-Led Thinking

Every engagement starts with understanding the site, the risks, and the operational requirements - not with pushing products.

Integrated Systems

We believe security works best when CCTV, access control, intercom, alarms, and software platforms support one another as part of a wider ecosystem.

Long-Term Accountability

We do not disappear after installation. We support maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and the practical realities of operating security systems over time.

Our Approach

How We Work

Our work is guided by a simple philosophy: specify carefully, install properly, and support consistently.

1

Understand the Site

We begin by understanding the property, its vulnerabilities, traffic patterns, and operational needs.

2

Design the Right System

We recommend the right level of security for the property, avoiding both under-specification and unnecessary complexity.

3

Implement with Care

We focus on proper execution, clean installation, reliable commissioning, and user readiness.

4

Support for the Long Term

We remain available for servicing, upgrades, and improvements as your needs evolve.

Design Professionals

Architects Who Have Worked With Us

Security is most effective when it is considered at the same time as the architecture. When we are brought in early - during design development or schematic design - we can route conduits, plan equipment positions, and coordinate with M&E consultants before walls are built. The result is a system that is invisible when it should be, and present when it matters.

How We Work Together

How We Engage With Your Practice

We are experienced in working alongside architectural teams at various stages of a project - from early design through construction and handover.

Design Development

Early Engagement

When engaged during design development, we coordinate cable routes, equipment positions, and structural penetrations before construction drawings are finalised. This avoids costly retrofits and visible conduit runs.

Construction Stage

On-Site Coordination

We work directly with the main contractor and M&E sub-contractors to ensure first-fix cabling is completed correctly. Our team attends site meetings when required and provides installation drawings for record.

Completion

Handover & Training

At practical completion we commission all systems, provide user training for residents, and hand over documentation. We remain available for post-handover support and system adjustments.

Selected Work

From Standalone Systems to Smarter Environments

Over the years, we have supported projects across condominiums, public-facing spaces, commercial premises, and industrial environments. Each project is approached with the same commitment to proper design, practical operation, and long-term support.
